David Munson is an award-winning insurance agent providing coverage for individuals, families, and businesses across Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C. But before he started his career as a celebrated State Farm insurance agent, he was a Cougar...at the College of Charleston! After graduating, he hopped into the insurance industry in 2010 to help connect people with the policies they need.

In 2011, David headed back north to his home state of Maryland to join State Farm in Bethesda, MD. By 2019, David had become a Maryland multi-office agent with two offices offering auto, home, life, and business insurance. Today, he and his team have grown his agencies to one of the largest offices in the country servicing over 5,000 households in the Greater Washington D.C. Metro Area.

His success has earned him attention in the industry. In addition to receiving awards from State Farm and other organizations, David is a multi-year President’s Club (top 50 in the company) recipient! David is also a member of the industry Million Dollar Round Table & a proud 3rd generation State Farm Agent.

David's philosophy for business is simple: put the customer first. This mantra is what has led David to continue employ more people to serve the community. He believes that his team should be available to help customers and ensure they get the coverage that suits their specific needs.

Max was born and raised in Fairfax VA and attended James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. At JMU he received a degree in Integrated Science & Technology with a minor in Spanish. Early in his career he worked as an IT consultant in Fairfax VA and in NYC. He returned to school, receiving an MBA from Georgetown University and starting a career in business development working both internationally (focus on Latin America) and as an Amazon digital marketing consultant.
